Lauren has been bringing for-profit and nonprofit organizations together for over two decades
This is in her blood, literally.
Among her many philanthropic endeavors, being involved in a Pediatric Cancer Foundation since 2013 has been one of the biggest inspirations for the WHY GO FOUNDATION.
Working with The Ashley Lauren Foundation, Pediatric Cancer Nonprofit Lauren saw first-hand how community, connection and resources can help ease the burdens of children and families in-crisis.
Outside the scope of formal work, Lauren has been helping adults, children and families in-crisis navigate personal and professional chaos for decades, through mentorship and the power of connection. However, resources similar to ACA/ACOA, but for kids aren’t easily found.
And one night in late August of 2022, through what always seems like a series of unrelated events, Lauren realized it was finally time to create her own…

Lauren felt what she thought was peace, but was actually safety for the first time August 2022 at Onsite Workshops
Reframed lifelong struggles — met people with similar backgrounds, shared experiences, coping mechanisms, shame and somatic responses
Felt a sense of connection, feeling less alone and releasing lifelong burdens
Upon landing at EWR on August 31, 2022, Lauren knew she had to make this Pediatric Complex Trauma Nonprofit fever dream a reality
